Dr Jannie Tay began creating a change since 1995.With high optimism and great sense of ownership she worked towards reenergizing the world and spreading 'EnergyGreen' through reforestation. She realised that the rate at which our world was depleting, we needed to plant quick growing tree-species to counter-effect the carbon dioxide emission results. Armed with a strong scientific background, Dr Jannie Tay developed fast growing cultivars of teak, Eucalyptus, Milaopai, Paulownia and Acacia. Today she has about 1300 hectares or 20,000 mu of land reforested with the Tissue Culture seedlings, developed by her biotechnology lab in China.

As expected, Dr Jannie Tay did not stop here. Her firm belief in spreading EnergyGreen further extended to farmers who now enjoy sustainable employment through these plantations. Her Planet Wellness plan is now spreading across Australia, China, Timor Leste and Indonesia.
