Reenergizing our Planet through
reforestation |
|
|
What began as a deep self-awareness for
Dr Jannie Tay in 1983 was in fact the
beginning of a profound change that was
to come in near future – 1995. By the
early 1980s, she had successfully marked
her way into the then male-dominated
corporate world. In the mean while, Dr.
Jannie Tay’s visit to an Indian
spiritual leader, who she later turned
to for constant guidance and inner
strength, also helped her discover and
connect with her higher self.
Dr Jannie Tay instantly identified with
his teachings and gradually recognized
the necessity to connect with something
more purposeful and essential. She knew
that it had to be this planet, to
reverse the damage we have caused to
ourselves.
As the years rolled by, her belief that
the trees hold the life on Earth grew
stronger than ever. She pledged to
reenergize the planet through
sustainable reforestation and bring
smiles back to the farmers through the
EnergyGreen movement. That was twelve
years ago and today she has more than
one million trees planted in a thousand
hectares around Asia. |
